Thoughts and Such...

Ahhh… (thatwasasighofrelief)

Last night, I couldn’t sleep, so I called my best friend and read to him out of my old journals. What’s funny about this is that most of my entries were just my heart bleeding over him. What’s funnier is that this wasn’t awkward for either of us. We just talked about how everything used to be and what went wrong with us and it was nice. He only laughed a few times, when my writings were ridiculously pathetic. It just feels so good to finally be in a place where this is okay. We’re honest and we don’t hold back and it’s easy. I am so happy.

Breaking It In

Hello there. This whole Tumblr thing is new to me. I’m not even sure why I made it… But now I feel like I should probably post something. I guess I’ll just introduce myself.

My name is Kelsie.

I’m going to be a junior in high school in the fall, which is scary as hell because I still feel (and occasionally act) like I’m about eight and I’m not ready to grow up and make important decisions. At this point I haven’t got a clue what I want to do with my life. I’m interested in diagnostic medicine and psychology and history and writing and teaching and a million other things. All I know is that I want to travel and see and do everything I can. The world is so beautiful and exciting and wonderful and I want to experience all of it.

I’m in marching band and I love it. I’m a hugehugehuge Harry Potter fan. I have a weakness for well-dressed men and dimples. Pineapple is my favorite. I want to live in Disney World. I love terrible movies like The Room and Troll 2. I’m not religious. I don’t ever want to have kids. I’m a democrat.

I’m frequently wrong and still naive but I love myself, flaws and all. Wanna be friends?
